Note that you can also use third party tools to download full installer applications of MacOS, for example download a full Mojave installer with the dosdude tool, and High Sierra too. I tried the Apple Support Website (link provided by PJ Thulin two posts below) but when clicking there on the version I wanted to download, I was redirected to the AppStore and a message popped up, telling me that the requested installer was not available at the moment.
Strangely, copying the corresponing link from the Apple Support Site into Google Chrome and opening the Appstore via that browser worked flawlessly. Still, a restriction is that your system needs to be theroretically able to install the OS you are trying to get. If not, you will see the OS in the Appstore, but it will not let you to download it.

Some users may need to download macOS Ventura on USB flash drive and install from it on different Mac devices. Now we can teach you how to clean install macOS from USB devices. You need to prepare a USB flash drive bigger than 16 GB and format it, and remember to back up important data with Time Machine or third-party backup software. Then we will apply the 'createinstallmedia' command to create a bootable installer.

How do I download macOS High Serra 10.13? If searching High Sierra in the App Store comes up empty how can I download it? You have to visit the Apple Upgrading to High Sierra Support Page for the direct App Store link.
We are off to the races now! The first thing you will notice is that instead of downloading macOS Mojave Installer inside the App Store it opens Software Update. Software Update will search for the Installer and ask if you are sure you want to download the 6gb Mojave Installer. After clicking download you will get a new prompt for admin credentials to start the download (not to actually install yet). After the download completes you will finally have the latest macOS installer.app.
I showed you how to download the macOS installer through the Mojave Mac App store. The thing is, a better way to download the full installer exists and is called installinstallmacos.py. I was going to explain how to use installinstallmacos.py here but now realize the topic deserves a full article. I did not even get into hardware specific (Forked) builds. As you can see we have a lot to go over, so stay tuned. I will put the link here when complete.
Download the latest version available, and extract the ZIP file, which should reveal the script along with the resources used by the downloader script. Then, open Terminal on your Mac and type the following command: chmod +x

Although it was not generally known at the time, the Parallels team was into development of Parallels Desktop 13 when High Sierra was first announced. We eagerly downloaded each beta release and tested High Sierra as both a host OS and guest OS with early builds of Parallels Desktop 13. As expected, issues were found and they were fixed.
Prior to the release of macOS Ventura the only way to get Ventura on your Mac was to install the beta, but now that Ventura has arrived (at around 10am PT on October 24. 2022) Mac users can download and install it.
Hi, its an old post but was checking to see if there had been any updates on the issue...apparently not. I had a similar issue when purchasing the recent version of MS Office (2019...purchased mid 2021) running on Mac OS10.13 (last possible update for my ageing computer). I ended up purchasing another older MS Office 2016 for Mac (which was an update on the previous version I had running) from "Product Key 24". Runs perfectly. Price was half that of the newer version and downloaded from their site with key instantly. Website 'productkey24.com'. A thought I had after the download was whether the newer version would also work if it is pre the current system updates on the Mac...as it was supported for the 2 subsequent OS upgrades (from my 10.13) but just missed out when OS 11 happened??....a thought. Hope this helps?
With the above information in-hand - follow this How to get old versions of macOS and verify what version this computer Qualifies to install. For Best results use Safari to commence the download as Others may not work.
What your computer qualifies for doesn't concern me. My Mac DOES qualify for High Sierra, but i cannot download it. I had a download link for Mojave yesterday, which I don't qualify for, but not for High Sierra.
